Looking forward to seeing you!

At Calvary Community Church of the Nazarene, we believe the Christian faith is about being conformed to Jesus. We consider this to be our core value and our reason for existence.
Studying scripture, praying, worshipping, giving, fellowshipping, and serving are all ways we intentionally practice what it means to be more like Jesus Christ.
We believe that the good work God is doing in us, as a people and a church, is not solely for our own sake, though. Our mission flows out of our vision: we are conformed to Christ for the sake of the world. Simply put, we want to represent Jesus well to our neighbors. We desire to be empowered by the Holy Spirit to be a faithful witness of Jesus.
Come learn with us about what it means to become a new creation in Christ!
If you are not sure that you are ready for such a journey. Then, we invite you to come meet us by serving alongside us through our food pantry ministry. We would love to serve with you and get to know you, as together we love our community.
We are affiliated with the Church of the Nazarene, which is a Protestant Christian church within the Wesleyan-holiness movement. 🤔
Okay, maybe we need to unpack that a bit!
We invite you to explore our beliefs and join us in our pursuit of living out our faith in boldness and passion.
We believe in one God—eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of all things, perfectly holy, and worthy of our worship and obedience.
We believe the Bible is fully inspired by God and is the authoritative Word of truth. It contains everything necessary for salvation and for living a faithful relationship with Him.
We believe all people are born with a sinful and selfish nature. Because of this, humanity is naturally inclined to turn away from God and do what is wrong.
We believe that those who do not turn from sin and place their faith in Jesus Christ remain eternally separated from God. Without Him, there is no salvation or hope of eternal life.
We believe Jesus Christ died for all humanity so that anyone may be saved. Whoever repents and believes in Him is forgiven, redeemed, and welcomed as a child of God.
We believe believers are called to be fully devoted followers of Christ. This means growing in faith, living in obedience, and reflecting His love in everyday life.
We believe the Holy Spirit lives within every believer, assuring us that we are children of God. He guides us, empowers us to live holy lives, and helps us to please God.
We believe in the promised return of our Lord Jesus Christ. At His coming, the dead will be raised, final judgment will take place, and God’s kingdom will be fully established.
When you visit our church, you can expect a welcoming and friendly environment where everyone is invited to explore faith at their own pace. Our services combine uplifting worship, practical teaching from the Bible, and opportunities to connect with others in community.

You’ll be able to connect at your own pace. If you’re ready to jump right in, a small group is the place for you! Want to take it slow? Great! We’re just glad you’re here!
Our services include singing, prayer, sacraments, and Bible teaching. We sing as an act of worship to God; feel free to sit, stand, or dance. This is followed by a 30 to 35-minute message and often Holy Communion.
You’ll find everything from shorts to dress casual at our worship gatherings. Our focus is not on what you look like or what you wear. Dress in whatever you find comfortable!
